It’s a week out to the US Presidential election 2024 and I’m starting to feel rather relieved I’m not an American with a right to vote in that election. Until recently it has seemed obvious to me that the only sane choice is Trump, yet if the published polls are to be believed in many cases there are only one or two points between the candidates, in some polls, Kamala is even ahead. To this writer a shocking indictment of democracy, once again if the polls can be believed.
Without considering foreign policy, all things considered, Trump should be the obvious choice. But, the US body politic has a cancer and it’s mortal, untreatable. The realization forces a re-think, and the conclusions are shocking…
I am slowly coming to the really shocking conclusion that the only way to stop the genocide in Palestine is to vote for Kamala! Why? It’s like this; the US is now completely subservient to extreme Zionist ideology. Like a parasitic infection that can not be removed, eventually the host will die and the parasite will move, on but in the meantime the death throws of empire could take millions down with it. And Trump, he is even more captured by the Israel Lobby than the democrats. If Trump is elected, he will close the border, impose tariffs, drill for oil and do everything he can to support the American people. And just like last time the country will boom, the flow of money and weapons will only increase to the Zionist state and the mass genocide of Palestinians will accelerate.
This is hard to believe, but even harder to believe is the idea that Trump will stand up to Netanyahu or Adelson or the full weight of the Israel Lobby or the millions of deluded Christians at whose feet lie thousands of murdered Palestinians. Strong language perhaps but its hard to escape the conclusion that the fanatical and unconditional support for Israel coming from the churches is what provides the cover needed by AIPAC et al. to influence US foreign policy away from National self interest and into the service of a foreign power.
Kamala on the other hand will accelerate the decline of the American empire, with the decline of international power and prestige contributing to America’s isolation on the world stage. Ultimately wars are decided by economic realities, and as the world moves away from the dollar the US may find it increasingly difficult to keep printing dollars, inflating its currency without paying the usual economic consequences.
The bottom line is this, Americas behavior on the world stage isn’t going to change until it is forced to change. And the sooner that happens the sooner people people will stop dying in pointless wars.
This writer is a nationalist and if I were an American I would prefer to vote for Trump, fortunately however I am not an American citizen and -although that fact apparently does not deter many from voting in US elections, -I will not be voting.
It’s an awful dilemma to be in, Vote for Trump and a renewal of America and feed the Zionist parasite in the body politic of America. Or vote for Kamala, and see America die taking the parasitic infection with it.
Is there a third option? There are those who believe in what I call the white night conspiracies, like ‘Q’ or the ‘White Hats’, in this paradigm everything is under control, it had to happen this way and The Don will save the day, imprison Hillary and dismantle the deep state. The problem is it’s the same rhetoric we heard last time. Right up to Jan 20th the faithful believed Biden would be arrested and the Don would be inaugurated for a second term. As it was the the Red Wave never materialized, the supreme court refused to hear voter fraud cases and well, you know the rest.
In the final analysis one can only resort to self interest, the Palestinian situation is tragic. But when it comes to a choice between deliberately voting the destruction of your own country or voting for a presumed savior that you know is compromised by your mortal enemy, then the lesser evil wins the day. So Don, with reservations, for a third time you’d probably get my tick.
